Phil (P.J.) Steele, Operations Manager
Welcome our newest team member Phil (P.J.) Steele. Phil has spent over 28 years in the testing field, including the Automotive and Oil & Gas Industries. He’s specialized in Product Qualification Testing and comes from Element where he focused on Materials Testing and Failure Analysis including Welding and other forms of Metallurgy.
Phil’s taken on the role of Operations Director and will be working out of TRP’s Troy, MI laboratory. He’ll be focusing on overall operations and business improvement for all Michigan locations, including Troy, Taylor and Lapeer facilities. He’ll also be supporting new technology developments, extending and complementing our current capabilities and is excited to be working with his teammates to implement improvements that can be seen from the shop floor up.
When Phil is not working hard in the office, he enjoys golf and supporting different philanthropic organizations including Special Olympics Michigan – Wertz Warriors. Wertz Warriors funds the Special Olympic Winter Games for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Michigan. Please join us in welcoming Phil in this new role, we’re happy to have him join our team.
