Environmental Testing
Test your automotive products in extreme environmental conditions – both simulated and real-world. TRP’s environmental labs feature large-format cold testing with bays up to 55 ft, and high-altitude testing capabilities ranging from sea level to 14,000 ft. Our Rocky Mountain Environmental Testing Center in Empire, Colorado sits at 8,900 ft and includes a 700 ft off-highway drive-away. For controlled simulations, our Balancing Altitude Simulation Equipment (BASE™) can replicate elevations up to 14,000 ft. Whether you’re testing a heavy-duty vehicle or an automotive part, our labs are ready to support your environmental testing needs.

Mileage Accumulation Dyno (MAD) Testing
Dyno test capabilities to accommodate 2WD and AWD passenger cars, light-duty and medium-duty passenger and commercial vehicles, electric and hybrid vehicles, tractors, ATV’s and motorcycles. Eliminate the risk of injury with on-road drivers and avoid inclement weather delays. MAD aging programs accumulate 120,000 miles of vehicle aging in only a few months offering a cost efficient alternative approved by EPA and other regulatory groups.
