TRP Laboratories Expands Through Acquisition of Tourney Consulting Group

TRP Laboratories continues its growth with the acquisition of Tourney Consulting Group (TCG), a Kalamazoo, Michigan-based consulting, engineering and materials testing firm.

The press release issued Sept 14, 2026, announced TRP’s acquisition of TCG, expanding its capabilities into the infrastructure and construction sectors while adding specialized expertise in concrete durability, corrosion, materials science, and service-life engineering.

By bringing TCG into TRP’s growing laboratory and engineering network, the company is broadening its technical capabilities, increasing capacity and creating new opportunities for collaboration across transportation, infrastructure, manufacturing and research markets.
