Effective October 20, Columbia River Partners (CRP), a private investment firm, acquired SGS’s automotive-centric testing laboratories.
We are excited to announce that the labs in Michigan, Indiana, and Colorado will now operate as TRP Laboratories.
The acquisition includes vehicle, powertrain, component, systems, and software testing operations.
Facilities, employees, and services remain unchanged; it is very much business as usual. There is a strong commitment to growing the business by building on the strengths of our team and growing capabilities. At the same time, we’re accelerating our vision to become a higher-value technology partner for our customers’ evolving testing needs.
Columbia River Partners (CRP) invests in tech enabled B2B services, especially the “Picks and Shovels” of technology. CRP investment types include corporate divestitures, recapitalizations, carve-outs, and other complex situations in the lower middle market.
